The following activities are currently available either before school or during school hours – please click for more details:
Mrs Mayhew & Miss Smith offer a welcoming and stimulating environment with a range of activities including homework support and the opportunity for musical instrument practice.
Sessions are limited to ensure we maintain best-practice staff to pupil ratios. The cost of each session is currently £3.50 and you can book your places online via our cashless payments system.
Cancellation of bookings with less than 24 hours notice or non-attendance of sessions due to illness etc. are non-refundable.
The cost for these lessons are as follows:-
- academic year 2018-19 are £33.00 per hr, £16.50 per half hr or £11.00 per 20 mins
- academic year 2019-20 are £34.00 per hr, £17.00 per half hr or £11.34 per 20 mins
There is also an additional cost for the hire of an instrument should one be required. The recommended age to begin lessons is 7 years of age.
Our music teachers are from Norfolk Music Services, County Hall.
Miss Anna Drake teaches flute, clarinet & saxophone on a Monday morning (08:50 – 10:30am).
Mr Gary Ames teaches violin on a Monday (13:30 – 14:30pm).
Mrs Beverley McInnes teaches piano on a Tuesday afternoon (14:05 – 15:45pm).
Mr Ian Cooper teaches guitar on a Friday morning (09:00 – 10:10am).
Please see the office to check availability if you are interested in your child having lessons. Please note that a notice period of one half-term is required should you wish to cease your lessons.
