This week in Swallow Class we have been learning lots of new things. For instance, on Monday and Tuesday some of the children in our class have been doing a Bikeability course. This was taught by two supportive Bikeability trainers called Stuart and Jamie.
On Wednesday, we had an exciting journey to the woods. Whilst we were there, we did a bit of drama based on a book called Journey. We also used our imagination to recreate the story. We would like to thank Mr Griffiths and Miss Ringwood for organising this brilliant trip for us.
The next day, we went to the Village hall to do some tag rugby which was taught by our coach: Mark. Whilst we were there we also did some fitness training. This included: burpies, sit-ups, the chair position-which you hold on the wall. All of these positions we held for 2 minutes. In English, we described what we saw in the woods. In this piece of writing, we included Expanded Noun Phrases.
Last of all, we would like to thank everyone who took part in bringing some chocolate for the chocolate tombola. This will be used at the Christmas fair on the 1st of December. We also hope that everyone comes back to school for another great week here at Brooke School.
