Extra-curricular clubs

The following activities are currently available after school:

Art Club
Monday – Art Club (KS2 Only) – Led by Miss McGowan, it runs from 3:15 – 4:00pm and it costs £2 per session payable a term in advance. Sketch book and art supplies are included.

Gardening and Environment Club
Tuesday – Gardening and Environment Club (Open to all ages) - Led by Mrs Turner. From 3:15 - 4:15pm, £2 per session, payable a term in advance. From January, some of these sessions will link up with Brooke House, where the children will work on a project to rejuvenate the garden at Brooke House. On these dates (TBC) the children will need to be collected from Brooke House at 4:15pm.

 

 

 

Choir Club
Wednesday – Choir Club (Open to all ages) – Led by Mrs Weal and Rev. Chapman.  Choir Club runs from 3:15 – 4:00 pm.  The cost of this club is £2.00 per session payable a term in advance and includes a snack provided by the school kitchen.
STEM Club
Thursday – STEM Club (KS2 Only) – Led by Miss Ringwood. This club will be investigating Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, offering a hands on experience with each one. This club is £2.00 per session, payable a term in advance, it runs 3:15 – 4:00 pm.

 

 

 

Morning Activities

We run activities every morning from 8:30am until 8:50am.

Writing Club -  Every morning by teaching assistants, this is a fantastic way to improve writing skills.

Yoga - Yoga runs Monday - Thursday, with Mrs Barker. It's a brilliant way to start the day.

Running - Tuesday & Thursday with Mrs Spinks, it's so refreshing and gets children ready for the day!

Lunch time clubs for all ages:

Chess Club
Monday Lunch time - Led by Mr Griffiths. All ages and abilities of chess, from beginner to advanced are welcome, we will learn the rules and play games against our friends - competing each week for the Chess Club Cup!
Cross-Country Club
Wednesday Lunch time (Midday) - Led by Mr Griffiths. All ages are welcome, we use either the public footpaths on the fields towards Howe Road, or will train on the field at the Village Hall. Please ensure you have given permission for your child to take part, any permission given at any point in the academic year lasts for the whole year.
Dance Club
Thursday Lunch time - Led by Mrs Spinks. All ages are welcome.
